Display Hallway The new hallway will have display cabinets for UCID’s student projects.
Community Area Students and faculty can safely store and eat food in the community area of the open studio.
Classroom Hallway All students will have class in the same hallway. Four classrooms for the four sections of each class.
Faculty Offices The Industrial Design faculty will have individual offices and a conference room on the same floor as their students.
Fabrication Lab The new Fabrication Lab and Assembly room will provide students with enough space to safely assemble models.
Open Workspace Watch creativity happen in the open studio when you walk through the ID hallway.
Breakout Pod Students can work on group projects, hold brainstorm sessions, or meet with faculty in the break-out pods.
Classroom Interior Students will be able to focus for critiques and project introductions in the new classroom space.
Quiet Workspace The quiet workspace will allow all I.D. students to have access to cintiques and be a space for focused work.
Exterior View The new additions to the building will blend in with the current exterior.
